Production of the fourth generation Starlet in Japan ended in December 1995, but continued in Indonesia until March 1998. The GT Turbo of this generation also ended production in December 1995, but remained popular with a cult of drivers, mainly as a used import. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Starlet (fourth generation, P80), 1989 to 1995, and the Toyota Starlet (fifth generation, P90) came next, following the 1994 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Starlet run from 1973 to 1999.
