2005 Toyota Sequoia

Automobiles

The 2005 Sequoia was given a minor facelift, with the 2UZ-FE engine upgraded with VVT-i for 42 more horsepower and a new 5 speed automatic transmission replacing the 4 speed. Four wheel drive models got a Torsen center differential in place of an open differential. It was model year 5 of 7 in the Toyota Sequoia (first generation, XK30 and XK40), 2001 to 2007, coming after the 2004 model year and before the 2006 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Sequoia run from 2001 to 2025.
