Automobiles

The Prius won the 2005 European Car of the Year title ahead of the Citroen C4 and the Ford Focus. FAW Toyota in Changchun began building the car for China in 2005, and a light cosmetic update for the 2006 model year arrived late in the year. It was model year 3 of 6 in the Toyota Prius (second generation, XW20), 2003 to 2008, coming after the 2004 model year and before the 2006 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Prius run from 1997 to 2025.
