The first generation Previa was sold outside the United States until 8 January 2000, when a newer front wheel drive second generation replaced it. The second generation was the XR30 and XR40 series, built until the third generation of 2006. This was the first model year of the Toyota Previa (second generation, XR30 and XR40), 2000 to 2005, which took over from the Toyota Previa (first generation, XR10 and XR20); the 2001 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Previa run from 1990 to 2019.
