In June 2020 Toyota unveiled the second facelift of the Hilux for Asia, Europe and South America, with LED headlamps and tail lamps, a first for the Hilux. The facelift was introduced in Japan in August 2020, presented in Australia in August, and in the Philippines in September. It was model year 6 of 10 in the Toyota Hilux (eighth generation, AN110, AN120 and AN130), 2015 to 2024, coming after the 2019 model year and before the 2021 model year.
