The thirteenth generation S200 came in 2008, with the Crown Hybrid Concept that had been exhibited at the Tokyo show the previous year pointing the way. It carried on the nameplate that had been Toyota's mainstream sedan in Japan since 1955. This was the first model year of the Toyota Crown (thirteenth generation, S200), 2008 to 2011, which took over from the Toyota Crown (twelfth generation, S180); the 2009 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Crown run from 1955 to 2026.
