The S210 Crown launched on 25 December 2012. Its new styling gave the front of the Royal series a design that paid tribute to the fifth generation MS105, and the hybrid version followed in January 2013. This was the first model year of the Toyota Crown (fourteenth generation, S210), 2012 to 2017, which took over from the Toyota Crown (thirteenth generation, S200); the 2013 model year follows it.
