September 1968 saw the release of a larger model called the Corona Mark II, slightly larger than the Corona with a higher level of equipment. By 1968 the Corona name was used on a larger platform, and the Corona Mark II was spun off as a separate platform after 1972. It was model year 5 of 6 in the Toyota Corona (third generation, T40 and T50), 1964 to 1969, coming after the 1967 model year and before the 1969 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Corona run from 1957 to 2001.
