In January 1967 the Corona became available as a five door van, and in April the larger and more powerful 3P and 2R engines replaced the lesser 2P in most markets. The Corona was the first Toyota assembled in New Zealand, from February 1967, and Toyota was the third best selling import brand in the United States by 1967. It was model year 4 of 6 in the Toyota Corona (third generation, T40 and T50), 1964 to 1969, coming after the 1966 model year and before the 1968 model year. Model year pages for the Toyota Corona run from 1957 to 2001.
