Introduced in March 1992, the new Corona made its European debut at the Geneva Motor Show, redesigned to be larger, heavier and completely rounded. The Carina E was imported in Europe from the third quarter of 1992 until the opening of the Burnaston factory in December that year. This was the first model year of the Toyota Corona (ninth generation, T190), 1992 to 1995, which took over from the Toyota Corona (eighth generation, T170); the 1993 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Corona run from 1957 to 2001.
