On 31 August 1973 Toyota introduced the Corona T100 series, as a two door or four door sedan, a hardtop coupe and a four door station wagon. Sales of the Corona continued to grow as a result of the 1973 oil crisis, and the wagon was added to the previous generation for 1973, its final model year. This was the first model year of the Toyota Corona (fifth generation, T100, T110 and T120), 1973 to 1977, which took over from the Toyota Corona (fourth generation, T80 and T90); the 1974 model year follows it. Model year pages for the Toyota Corona run from 1957 to 2001.
