Toyota Corolla (second generation, E20)

Automobiles

The E20 appeared in May 1970 with a more rounded body and a longer wheelbase of 2,335 mm. Corolla and Sprinter now had slightly different sheet metal and trim, and the sporty Levin and Trueno names were attached to twin cam versions of the 2T engine from March 1972. It was the first Corolla marketed in Indonesia, it was assembled in Nova Scotia and Ireland, and it also formed the basis of the 1974 Daihatsu Charmant.
