Two new colors joined the regular palette for the 2017 model year, limited to the SE and XSE. In June the Asian facelift went on sale in Eco, Standard and Elegance grades, and Australian production ended on 3 October when the Altona plant closed, the last Toyota built in Australia. It was the last model year covered for the Toyota Camry (seventh generation, XV50), 2012 to 2017, and the Toyota Camry (eighth generation, XV70) came next, following the 2016 model year.
