1987 Toyota Camry

Automobiles

The 1987 Camry was the first model year of the V20 in North America, where the sedan and the first Camry station wagon came to market in late 1986. Australia followed in April 1987 with local assembly at Port Melbourne, the first Camry built outside Japan, while Japan added the Camry Prominent with a 2.0 liter V6 in April. This was the first model year of the Toyota Camry (second generation, V20), 1987 to 1991, which took over from the Toyota Camry (first generation, V10); the 1988 model year follows it.
