Sales of the stock cars of the Traviq were completed by the end of March 2005, with about 12,000 sold in all. With it, the lineup of Subaru in Japan had no minivan until the Exiga that Subaru developed itself went on sale in June 2008. The Traviq of 2005 was only the last months of sales of stock, and its name combined the English words travel and quick. The Traviq was the first minivan of Subaru, which had sold the Domingo cabover van from 1983.
