The 2018 season saw Team BMR switch from Mountune to Swindon as engine suppliers for the Levorg in the British Touring Car Championship. The Levorg of 2018 was in its fifth year on sale, with the 1.6 liter FB16 and the 2.0 liter FA20 turbocharged flat four petrol engines, in Japan and in Europe. The first Levorg shares its platform with the Impreza, WRX and the Legacy. The name Levorg is a portmanteau of Legacy, revolution and touring.
