1990 Subaru Legacy

Automobiles

The Legacy was campaigned by the Subaru World Rally Team in the World Rally Championship and British Rally Championship with help from Prodrive, beginning in 1990. A 1990 Legacy was the first Group N car to finish the WRC Safari Rally, and the Legacy won the Alcan Winter Rally for the first time in 1990. In 1990 it was declared the number one selling four wheel drive car. The Legacy introduced an entirely new flat four engine series, the EJ, which was quieter and more powerful than the earlier EA engine.
