The G6 was a midsize Pontiac introduced in 2004 for the 2005 model year to take the place of the Grand Am, sold as a sedan and, from 2006, as a coupe and a retractable hardtop convertible until the Pontiac brand wound down. This site gives every generation and every model year its own page, in one generation: the G6, 2005 to 2010 (2005 to 2010). Its generation and model year pages state who owned the vehicle line and who built it in each year, with the source for each statement.
