Lexus GS

Automobiles

The Lexus GS was an executive sedan built by Toyota and sold by Lexus across four generations. It was launched in 1991 in Japan as the Toyota Aristo, and the Lexus GS name followed in February 1993 for markets outside Japan, while the Aristo name stayed in Japan until January 2005. Lexus sold it as a performance sedan in the mid luxury class between the compact IS and the large LS. It had six-cylinder engines and rear-wheel drive, with V8 versions in every generation, and shared its chassis with the Toyota Crown until 2011. All-wheel drive and hybrid versions debuted in 2005, and production ended in August 2020.
