Rover P4 (P4)

Automobiles

The P4 was a single generation that grew into a family of cars. Production began in 1949 with the six cylinder 2.1 liter Rover 75, announced by managing director Spencer Wilks on 23 September 1949 and displayed at the opening day of the Earls Court Motor Show five days later. Its styling was derived from the then controversial 1947 Studebakers. The range later added the Rover 60, 90, 80 and 100. Its model years run from 1949 to 1964.
