The Wraith was a single generation, an in line six cylinder overhead valve car of 4,257 cc based on the engine of the 25/30 but with a cross flow cylinder head. The four speed gearbox had synchromesh on second, third and fourth speeds and retained the traditional right hand change. The independent front suspension was coil sprung, based on that of the Packard 120, and the chassis was now welded rather than riveted. Its model years run from 1938 to 1939.
