2001 Range Rover (P38A)

Automobiles

The second-generation Range Rover reached the end of its run in 2001 as the third generation was introduced. It was the last model to carry the Rover V8 and Connolly leather, whose supplier closed in 2002, and also the last Range Rover that could be had with a manual gearbox and conventional transfer box. The P38A was also the first Range Rover with navigation offered as an option, and its stronger chassis, made with new welding methods, resisted corrosion better than the Classic's did.
