1994 Range Rover (P38A)

Automobiles

The second-generation Range Rover went on sale on 28 September 1994, a quarter-century less one year after the first. It featured an updated Rover V8 and the option of a 2.5-litre BMW diesel with a Bosch injection pump, which was Land Rover's first electronically controlled diesel injection, and it offered more equipment and premium trims, positioning it above the Discovery. Its development team had worked in Block 38A at Solihull, which gave the car its P38A name, and BMW had bought Rover Group.
