The 1995 Classic Range Rover could reach 60 mph in about 11 seconds, down from under 15 seconds in 1970, and had a top speed of about 110 mph. It was in its last two years, built alongside the second-generation Range Rover that had been launched in September 1994, with the "soft dash" interior, the 3.9-litre V8 and the 2.5-litre 300Tdi diesel. The Classic name had been used since the P38A's arrival, and this model was continued until 1995 under it, according to Land Rover's own timeline.
