The Voyager was on Car and Driver magazine's Ten Best list for 1985. Voyagers of 1984 to 1986 could be equipped for five, six or seven passengers, with an eight passenger variant available only in 1985. The 1985 Voyager was one of the earliest mass produced vehicles to include dedicated cup holders outside the glovebox, and it came in the three trim levels of base, SE and LE. The van was assembled at Windsor Assembly in Windsor, Ontario.
