In January 2026 Opel officially revealed a facelift of the Astra L at the Brussels Motor Show. Sales of the facelifted version began in February 2026, and sales in the United Kingdom began on 28 May 2026. The Astra L is the sixth generation, developed under PSA Group and built for the Opel and Vauxhall brands in the era of Stellantis, on the third generation of the EMP2 platform. The Astra L was refreshed in 2026.
