Nash Statesman (second generation)

Automobiles

A new design for 1952, timed to Nash's fiftieth anniversary, gave the Statesman a large notchback body with enclosed wheels and styling by Pininfarina, on a wheelbase shortened to 114.25 inches, with a new Country Club two door hardtop beside the two and four door sedans. A single six cylinder engine powered the cars at first. Facelifts followed in 1955 and 1956, and the line was dropped after the final units were built in August 1956. Its model years run from 1952 to 1956.
