1957 Nash Metropolitan

Automobiles

In September 1957 American Motors announced the discontinuation of the historic Nash and Hudson brand names, and the Metropolitan was subsequently marketed under the Metropolitan name only and sold through Rambler dealers. In January 1957 the company's Metropolitan sales manager started a Metropolitan Club to channel owners' enthusiasm, and a members' magazine, The Met Letter, followed from May 1957. Austin also began selling the cars in overseas markets from April 1957.
