1951 Nash Ambassador

Automobiles

For 1951, the last year of the original Airflyte body, the Ambassador continued as the top Nash sedan on the unit body introduced in 1949. Nash was by then selling more large cars than before the war, and president George Mason used that success to fund a small car program that would emerge as the compact Nash Rambler, reviving an old marque. The imported Nash Healey sports car joined the line in 1951 as a halo model.
