1941 Nash Ambassador

Automobiles

All Nash vehicles became Ambassadors for 1941, offered in long and short wheelbases, and the Ambassador Eight now shared the Ambassador Six's 121 inch wheelbase. The Ambassador 600, on a 112 inch wheelbase, became the first popular domestic automobile built with the single welded unit body that Nash called Unitized instead of a separate body and frame. The larger Ambassadors from 1941 through 1948 set that unit structure on a conventional frame, creating a solid and sturdy car.
