Morris Isis (Series I)

Automobiles

The Series I Isis was launched in March 1955 to replace the Morris Six MS, with the 2.6 liter 86 horsepower C series six cylinder engine of the Austin Westminster but with a single SU carburettor. It was based on the four cylinder Morris Oxford Series II, sharing its shell and torsion bar front suspension, with a lengthened wheelbase and front end, and a two door woody estate was also offered. It could reach 90 miles an hour. Its model years run from 1955 to 1956.
