As of February 2021 the pickup truck is sold in every available Mitsubishi market except the United States, Canada, Japan, India and China. The fifth generation Triton of 2021 was in its seventh year, with cumulative sales of the first three generations exceeding 2.8 million units. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles did not introduce the Fullback in the North American market due to the U.S. chicken tax. The Triton is a mid-size pickup truck, also known as the Mitsubishi L200, produced by Mitsubishi Motors.
