The Raider was based largely on the Dodge Dakota and built by Chrysler, with engine choices of a 4.7 liter PowerTech V8 and a 3.7 liter PowerTech V6, the latter alone by the 2008 model year. It was a Mitsubishi answer to the gap left by the Mighty Max in 1996, and was not subject to the chicken tax since it was American built. It was sold only in the United States. Its model years run from 2006 to 2010.
