1990 Mitsubishi Mirage

Automobiles

The 8 valve 1.3 liter engine was replaced by a somewhat more powerful 12 valve version in June 1990, though still carbureted. In March 1990 the 124 PS catalyzed 1600 GTi-16V was replaced by a 1.8 liter version with 136 PS. The second facelift, in October 1990, featured new taillights with clear turn signals. The Mirage hatchback models of 1978 to 2003 were classed as subcompact cars, while the sedan and wagon, sold as the Lancer, were compact.
