Mitsubishi launched the second generation Mirage to Japan in 1983, again splitting the range into the Mirage, with three and five door hatchbacks and a four door sedan, and the Lancer Fiore four door sedan. A station wagon version was added in 1985, with a four wheel drive wagon from the fall of 1986. Many export markets sold the hatchbacks as Mirage or Colt and the sedan and wagon as Lancer. Its model years run from 1983 to 1986.
