1999 Mitsubishi Debonair

Automobiles

The Debonair was discontinued in 1999 after a 35 year production run in three distinct generations, and replaced with the Proudia in an attempt to continue to offer a top level luxury sedan. The Debonair of 1999 was the last year of the third generation executive sedan. The word debonair means gentle, courteous, suave, lighthearted or nonchalant. The second and third generations met with considerable success in South Korean license production.
