Toyota Porte

Automobiles

The Toyota Porte, whose name is the Italian plural word for doors, is a mini MPV that Toyota produced from 2004 to 2020 with an electric powered sliding door on the passenger side, similar in approach to the Isis, while the driver's door is of the conventional swing open type. The first generation was based on the first generation Vitz subcompact, introduced in July 2004 and available only in Japan. In July 2012 the Porte was redesigned and the Toyota Spade twin was introduced. Toyota stopped production of both the Porte and the Spade in December 2020. Generations with their own pages on this site: the first generation, AP10 (2004 to 2011); the second generation, XP140 (2012 to 2020).
