In July 2016 the Sienna was officially introduced to the Taiwanese market, a further export market alongside South Korea. The 2016 model remained the V6 minivan with a six speed automatic, with the 2017 model's eight speed gearbox to follow. It was model year 6 of 10 in the Toyota Sienna (third generation, XL30), 2011 to 2020, coming after the 2015 model year and before the 2017 model year.
