The Sentia of 1998 was in its fourth year as the second generation, the last large rear wheel drive sedan of Mazda, with a 3.0 liter V6 and the mild redesign that gave it a more stately look for formal use. It was in its last full year, as the model had been in production for a short time, and it was also built under license in South Korea as the Kia Enterprise. The Sentia was derived from the Latin word sentio, meaning to sense, feel or hear.
