The Sentia of 1993 was in its third year, a luxury sedan with a V6 engine placed behind the front axle in a layout Mazda called front midship, and with the width dimension that carried an extra tax for buyers in Japan. The 929 sold abroad carried the updated, smoother Mazda diamond badge on all 1993 models, and the car was also sold in South Korea as the Kia Enterprise. The Sentia was derived from the Latin word sentio, meaning to sense, feel or hear.
