2007 Mazda RX-8

In 2007 Mazda released a UK only limited edition of the RX-8 known as the Kuro, Japanese for black. The car was in its fifth year, with the Renesis rotary engine of 189 to 237 horsepower in two states of tune, a six speed manual or a five speed automatic, and the freestyle rear doors that open opposite to the fronts. Some cars of the 2006 UK launch were registered in 2007 as stock ran off. The rotary Wankel engine uses a triangular rotor inside a near oval housing.
