2009 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Automobiles

In 2009 the English critic Jeremy Clarkson wrote that if you want a sports car the MX-5 is perfect, and that he gave it five stars only because he could not give it fourteen. In December 2009 Grassroots Motorsports magazine named the MX-5 the most important sports car built during the previous 25 years. The NC remained on the Car and Driver 10Best list. In Japan it was marketed as the Mazda Roadster. The name Miata comes from an Old High German word for reward.
