2019 Mazda CX-9

Automobiles

The CX-9 in 2019 was in the fourth year of the second generation, a mid-size three row crossover with a turbocharged 2.5 liter Skyactiv-G engine of up to 250 horsepower, six speed automatic and the Kodo design. It was shorter than its predecessor but rode on a longer wheelbase, and it had Mazda's active safety systems such as blind spot monitoring and autonomous emergency braking. The CX-9 was built at Mazda's Ujina plant in Hiroshima but never sold in Japan, where the CX-8 took its place.
