2015 Mazda CX-9

Automobiles

The 2015 model year was the last of the first generation CX-9, which had been on sale since 2006 on the Ford CD3 platform. Mazda revealed the second generation at the Los Angeles Auto Show in 2015, nine years after the original, and based it on the Skyactiv platform and engines that it used for models introduced after 2011. The old V6 car was a three row crossover with blind spot monitoring as standard. It was Mazda's largest passenger vehicle until the CX-90 arrived.
