2014 Mazda CX-5

For the 2014 model year Mazda added an optional 2.5 liter Skyactiv petrol four to address the main criticism of the CX-5, which was a lack of power. From 2014 the CX-5 was consistently Mazda's best selling model worldwide, a position it has kept. The facelifted car was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2014 as a 2016 model. The Skyactiv range combined a rigid, lightweight platform with engines and transmissions to cut emissions and fuel consumption.
