In 2006 the Australian market E1800 was discontinued, and the E2000 medium and long wheelbase versions were discontinued in Australia. The Bongo of 2006 was in its eighth year of the fourth generation, the SK platform cabover van and truck, sold in Japan, New Zealand and elsewhere. It also formed the basis for the long running Kia Bongo range. The Bongo was also known as the Ford Econovan and Eunos Cargo, and it has been built with rear, middle and front mounted engines.
