The Toyota Progrès is a mid size luxury sedan that Toyota sold in Japan from May 1998 to June 2007, replacing the Corona EXiV. The name is French for progress. Like the Century, it was one of the few models without Toyota's emblem, carrying a P emblem on the grille, trunk lid, wheel center caps, steering wheel and key. It was exclusive to Toyopet Store dealerships, while its twin the Brevis was exclusive to Toyota Store locations. It had a 2.5 or 3.0 liter JZ inline six with VVT-i and shared its platform with the Lexus IS. Generations with their own pages on this site: the single generation (1998 to 2007).
