Lincoln Capri (1952) (third generation)

Automobiles

The third generation Capri of 1958 and 1959 was one of the largest cars ever made, larger than contemporary Cadillacs and Imperials, a unibody with canted headlights and scalloped fenders. It sold poorly because of the economic recession, and Lincoln lost more than 60 million dollars over 1958 to 1960. After 1959 Lincoln rebranded using only its division name. Its model years run from 1958 to 1959.
