In 2005 Lexus showed the LF-Sh concept, which debuted the hybrid powertrain that would reach production in the next generation. The facelifted LS 430 meanwhile carried on with its six speed automatic and its LED tail lights. It was model year 5 of 6 in the Lexus LS (third generation, XF30), 2001 to 2006, coming after the 2004 model year and before the 2006 model year.
