The fourth generation, the WK2, was introduced in 2010 for the 2011 model year and produced from mid 2010 to 2022. It used a platform derived from the Mercedes Benz W166 series that it shared with the 2011 Dodge Durango, with the Quadra Trac I, Quadra Trac II and Quadra Drive II four wheel drive systems. It offered the SRT8 and later the 707 horsepower SRT Trackhawk, and a 3.0 liter turbodiesel from 2014. Its model years run from 2011 to 2021, with the old body sold in 2022 as the Grand Cherokee WK.
